Here you will find poetry, essays, and narratives that redefine the boundaries of speculative fiction, fantasy, science fiction, horror, and other subgenres that challenge our understanding of reality.

Only needs a place by Macarena Araya Lira

Nº 03 | Short story | Horror | 2691 words | Macarena Araya Lira | Spanish version | Translated by Trinidad Montalva | A medical student obsessed with being the best goes to a bar after a grueling ER shift where she watched doctors save a nearly decapitated man. Sleep-deprived and collapsing, she crosses a frozen, hostile city trying to get home, but instead drifts back to the hospital, the only place that feels like hers. On the edge of delirium, haunted by childhood memories of failed resuscitation, she decides she must save the patient herself, pushing her exhausted body and faith in “never letting anyone die” to a brutal, catastrophic extreme.

Rumor by xelsoi

Nº 02 | Short story | Horror | 3650 words | xelsoi | In a city ruled by fear and fire, a young man returns to his parents’ house on a night when everything seems normal—until they fail to come back before the alarm. Desperate, he goes out to search for them, confronting a neighborhood where danger is diffuse and the rules have changed. As he moves through dimly lit streets—past bonfires, vigilantes, and the echoes of lynchings—he discovers that the real threat isn’t always the one that’s announced.
